Western Australia's premier road cycling event, the Tour de Perth, will have a new beginning in 2009. The Tour's four stages will take in high profile central city locations ideal for spectators and media coverage. A highlight will be strong competition between teams and individual competitors from across Australia to take out the National Road Series.

The Tour
The Tour de Perth Men's and Women's events will form part of the Cycling Australia National Road Series and will be televised on SBS shortly after the event. It is the last opportunity for individuals to earn points for the 2009 series and may well decide Australia's leading road cyclist.
