Bikewest is pleased to sponsor a Glamour Push Live catwalk competition that will be held at 12.45pm on Sunday, 15 November as part of the Scody Tour de Perth's Cycling Festival.

Ladies and children are invited to either dress up themselves or their bikes in any fashion they like (for example glamour, funny or outrageous – whatever mood your are in on the day). Then at 12.00pm an announcement will be made inviting anyone and everyone to nominate themselves to walk in the fashion parade. At 12.45 participants will strut there stuff down the finish line of the Scody Tour de Perth Course.

A panel of representatives from Bikewest and Travel Smart from the Town of Cambridge will judge the ladies on the catwalk. All will go into the running for the following prizes:

  1. Road Bike + a Cycle Instead t-shirt + a set of comprehensive Perth Bike Maps
  2. Cycle Instead backpack + a bike computer + bike pump and a set of comprehensive Perth Bike Maps
  3. Cycle Instead backpack + a water bottle

This fun competition is a great way to celebrate this initiative which Bikewest launched at the start of this year's Cycle Instead Bike to Work Challenge. The aim is to encourage more women to cycle for commuter and recreational purposes.

If you would like to be involved in the Glamour Push Live Fashion Parade, make sure you frock up on Sunday 15th at the Scody Tour de Perth. When you hear the call out, make your way to the start/finish area of the tour to nominate your entry.
